Arkhas — Terms of Use

1. The service

Arkhas (أرخص) is a price-comparison app operated by Mady Labs (Mohamed Mady, Egypt). It maintains a catalogue of products and shows, for each, offers from third-party stores such as Amazon.eg and noon, with the price, delivery cost, total, and the time the offer was last checked. Tapping an offer opens the store's own website or app. Arkhas has no cart, no checkout and no payment facility.

2. No seller relationship

Arkhas does not sell, ship, invoice or guarantee any product. The contract of sale is exclusively between you and the store. Questions about an order, delivery, return, refund or warranty go to that store. Mady Labs has no access to your order and cannot intervene in it.

3. Prices and accuracy

• Every offer shows a "checked" time. The price is accurate only as of that time. Stores change prices without notice.
• The price shown on the store's own page at the time of purchase is the one that applies. If it differs from Arkhas, the store's page is correct and Arkhas is out of date.
• A "saving" or percentage badge is the spread between the cheapest and dearest offer we hold for that product at that time. It is not a claim about a list price, a former price, or any store's discount.
• Product titles, images and specifications come from the stores' listings and may contain their errors.
• We may not list every store, every seller on a store, or every variant of a product.

4. Affiliate links

As an Amazon Associate, Mady Labs earns from qualifying purchases made through Amazon.eg links in the app. Similar arrangements may exist with other stores and are disclosed in the app. Commission does not change the price you pay, and stores are ordered by your total cost, never by commission.

5. Price alerts

If you watch a product and set a target price, we try to notify you when an offer we hold reaches it. Alerts depend on when prices were last checked, on your device's notification settings, and on Apple's and Google's delivery; they are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed to be timely or to arrive.

6. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, bulk-download, or reverse-engineer the app or its backend; do not use it to interfere with any store; do not use it if you are under 13. We may suspend access from a device that abuses the service.

7. Intellectual property

The Arkhas name, mark and app are owned by Mady Labs. Store names and product images belong to their owners and appear only to identify the offer. "Amazon" and "noon" are trademarks of their respective owners; Arkhas is not endorsed by or affiliated with either beyond the affiliate arrangements above.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Arkhas is provided "as is", free of charge, without warranty of any kind, including as to accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mady Labs is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on a price shown in the app, from a purchase made with a store, or from an alert that did not arrive. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under Egyptian consumer-protection law.

9. Privacy

How Arkhas handles data is set out in the Arkhas Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are surfaced in the app. You can stop using Arkhas at any time by deleting it. We may withdraw or change the service at any time.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Contact: [email protected].
